Job Description

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate governance arrangements are in place and operating smoothly.
• Act as a role model for portfolio, programme and project hygiene.
• Develop a suitable library of tools and processes for project management.
• Lead and coordinate portfolio, programme and project assurance activities.
• Support the Head of Operational Transformation in preparing advice to senior officials.

Requirements

• Professional level qualification, such as APM’s PMQ or Axelos’ P3O qualifications.
• Experience of managing or leading in a PMO for complex projects
• Extensive knowledge and experience of Governance, Benefits Management, and Risk & Issue Management.
