About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Care Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified care professional looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in leading and supporting a care team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for assessing residents’ needs, developing and implementing care plans and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person centred care. You will lead by example, supporting and supervising care staff, promoting best practice and ensuring excellent outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ needs and contribute to the development of personalised care plans
• Implement and evaluate care programmes to ensure high standards of care
• Administer medication in line with policies and procedures
• Work independently and deliver care without direct supervision
• Supervise, support and guide care staff within the team
• Coordinate and delegate tasks to ensure effective service delivery
• Promote best practice and maintain a safe, supportive environment
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards

What We’re Looking For

• SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Current SSSC registration
• PDA in Medication and/or Supervision (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a Senior Care role
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Up to £32,032 per annum (plus overtime opportunities)
• £14.00 per hour
• Flexible, permanent contracts – 22, 33, or 44 hours per week
