Job Description
The higher clerical position will support a new service in NHS Lanarkshire, supporting clinicians who are providing treatment to people with Energy Limiting such as ME/CFS and Long Covid. Excellent communication skills are required to liaise directly with patients over the phone. Good interpersonal skills are also necessary in order to offer immediate reassurance to often emotional patients and to escalations to clinical staff.
The team will run multiple clinics 5 days per week, including domiciliary visits. You will be essential in supporting appointment scheduling, outcomes, daily team organisation, planning and use of multiple IT systems and processes, responding to emails and telephone calls and supporting with collection of clinical data to support service improvement. This is a highly supportive team, but will involve regular lone working.
The working pattern for this role can be negotiated over a Monday to Friday rota.
This post is part time 28.8hrs, salary is pro rata.

Qualifications
- Experience in an Administrative and Clerical role
- Educated to Higher Grade level
- Ability to supervise staff
- Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care
