Fabricator/Welder
Job Description
RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership witha leading agricultural supply business in Aberdeenshire.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Fabricate and welding of mobile milling machines and perform repairs where necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and mark bending and cutting lines onto work piece
- Position, align, fit, preheat work pieces, and weld together parts
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products
- Bolt, clamp, and tack welds parts to secure in position for welding
- Lay out, position, align and fit components together
- Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding
- Analyse diagrams and specifications and cut all metal accordingly
- Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products
- Assemble old units and perform modification and repair work if required
Requirements
- Experience in all types of welding
- Ability to use variety of tools and grinders
- Attention to detail
- Works well as part of a team and as an individual
- Ability to operate heaving machinery, such as forklifts and cranes
- Good organisational Skills
