Support effective clinical care by providing an efficient Health Records service to patients, medical and nursing staff.
Provide comprehensive and effective clerical and administrative support to ensure patient appointments for clinics, day cases and in patient admissions are administered and processed accurately and that patients’ health records remain confidential, are securely stored and are available when necessary.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain patient appointment schedules for clinics, day cases and in patient admissions.
- Accurately process and administer appointments ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Securely store and retrieve health records as required.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to medical and nursing staff.
Legal and regulatory requirements:
- Possess a valid UK right to work, granted by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
- Have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult) an application will need to be completed and a satisfactory Disclosure Scotland check must be obtained before commencing.
- Be prepared to meet any updated criminal record checks required from 1 April 2025, including those for regulated roles under the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme.
