About us
Our team provides an Occupational Therapy service on the Island of Bute. We are an Integrated Occupational Therapy Team based in the Victoria Annexe in Rothesay and work primarily with the adult population in both in patient and community settings.
About the role
Band 4 Assistant Practitioner in Occupational Therapy to join the integrated OT service. The role supports the OT team and registered occupational therapists with caseloads, working flexibly across all aspects of the service. You will use specialist assessment and rehabilitation skills with a caseload of less complex clients, supporting them to maximise independence at home, and provide equipment and adaptation recommendations.
About you
Requirements:
- Confidence and strong communication skills.
- HNC in Occupational Therapy Support or willingness to work towards one, with more than three years’ experience in Health or Social Care.
- Full UK driving licence, excellent organisational and IT skills, and ability to prioritise a varied workload.

Working hours
Effective from 1 April 2026, the agenda for change full time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part time hours will be adjusted pro rata to keep the hourly rate unaffected.
