Job Description

We are looking for a high-calibre Senior Programme Manager to lead a strategically important customer delivery programme in Glasgow. Please note that candidates need to be based locally in Scotland.

What You Will Be Responsible For Delivery Ownership

  • Lead an existing live programme and stabilise/optimise delivery performance.
  • Oversee multiple work packages from design through execution.
  • Integrate new projects and SoWs into the programme structure.
  • Own risk, issue, and dependency management end-to-end.

Customer Leadership

  • Act as the senior delivery interface to the end customer.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide structured executive reporting and clear escalation management.
  • Maintain delivery credibility at all levels.

Commercial Accountability

  • Own financial performance within agreed margin expectations.
  • Monitor revenue, cost, and resource utilisation.
  • Ensure delivery operates within commercial guardrails.
  • Drive improvements in KPI performance where required.

Team & Governance

  • Lead a multidisciplinary delivery team.
  • Establish strong governance cadence (RAID, reporting, controls).
  • Drive accountability and performance culture.
  • Raise delivery maturity where gaps exist.

What We’re Looking For

  • 15+ years’ experience in senior programme or large-scale delivery leadership.
  • Proven track record managing customer-facing telecom or enterprise programmes.
  • Experience managing live delivery while onboarding new workstreams.
  • Financial accountability for programme margin and cost control.
  • Strong executive reporting capability.
  • Ability to operate with gravitas in high-visibility environments.
