Job Description
Due to recent growth and a new pipeline of projects, our client, a well-established civil engineering company is seeking an experienced Working Supervisor to join their team. This is a hands-on role for a candidate with a strong civil engineering background, who can lead site operations, manage teams, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead site teams across civil engineering projects
Ensure all work is carried out safely, on programme, and to specification
Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily operations on site
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
Monitor quality standards and implement corrective actions as required
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil engineering, with demonstrable site supervision experience
Strong understanding of civil engineering operations
Proven ability to manage and motivate teams on-site
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Knowledge of health and safety legislation and site procedures
