Waste Transfer & Recycling Plant Operator

Job Description

City of Edinburgh Council is hiring Disposal Plant Operatives across Edinburgh, including the West (Bankhead) and East (Seafield) sites. Salary range £27,257-£29,850; 36 hours per week, with a 4 days on/4 days off rotating pattern including weekends.

Training is provided for those without prior plant experience. Responsibilities include operating large plant machinery at Waste Transfer Stations and Recycling Centres, handling waste and recyclables, and completing related paperwork.
