Warehouse Supervisor, Permanent, Larkhall, 35,600 per annum plus overtime

We are looking for experienced Warehouse Shift Leaders to work within our established warehouse & distribution team in Larkhall.

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be tasked with:

  • Leading a team of approximately 10 warehouse operators to achieve the highest levels of despatch accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Providing effective supervision of the team directing work tasks and performance across all warehouse functions – accurate and efficient storage and distribution of goods, goods in, stock relocation, pallet pick and despatch
  • Managing individual attendance, timekeeping, breaks and holidays
  • Managing performance, identifying training needs and implementing ongoing development plans for all team members
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety protocols adhered to with regards to property and mechanical handling equipment; escalating any issues to Warehouse Manager where necessary
  • Ensuring all warehouse procedures adhered to at all times
  • Ensuring the accurate and efficient despatch of goods on time and in full with required documentation provided at time of loading
  • Assisting internal and external customers with any queries or concerns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Implementing stock movements in alignment with FIFO principles
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the warehouse function for internal and external customers
  • Maintaining housekeeping to 5S standards

  • Clear and assertive communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to react to changing demands whilst maintaining adherence to all company processes and protocols
  • Good system knowledge including Excel
