Connect Appointments are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking individuals to join our client’s busy warehouse team in Gartcosh as a Warehouse Operative. This is a great opportunity for ongoing, consistent work with a leading logistics provider.
What’s on offer?
- Temporary ongoing opportunity
- Working Monday to Saturday, 4am to 10:30am
- Paid weekly 12.71 per hour
What you’ll be doing?
- Sorting and scanning parcels ready for dispatch
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Picking, packing, and labelling customer orders
- Checking items against delivery paperwork
- Reporting any damaged or missing items
- Keeping your work space clean and safe
- Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties
What we’re looking for?
- Previous experience in a warehouse, parcel sorting, or similar fast-paced role preferred
- Physically fit and able to lift parcels (manual handling involved)
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and in a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, especially at night
