Location: Northern Italy preferred (home-based)

About the role

Peak Scientific is a global leader in gas generation solutions for laboratories, with innovation and continuous improvement at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a commercially driven Territory Manager to lead sales across the Italian region for Peak Scientific’s product portfolio. This is a new position to grow the Peak International Group across Europe.

This is a high-impact role where you will take ownership of your territory, driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and managing the full sales cycle-from prospecting through to closing. This role requires regular travel (approximately 50%) across Italy to maintain strong customer engagement and territory coverage.

You’ll bring an established network of relevant contacts and decision-makers and you’ll be confident leveraging those relationships to generate early pipeline, open doors, and accelerate growth in a new desk environment.

You’ll work closely with distributors, OEM partners, and end users, acting as the primary commercial contact in the region and ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Frequent in-person interaction with customers and partners is essential to success.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build the sales desk from the ground up.
  • Generate and maintain pipeline via outbound prospecting, warm introductions, campaigns, events, and partner routes to market.
  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery, to proposals, negotiation and closing.
  • Build and manage relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end users.
  • Deliver against sales targets and drive sustainable revenue growth across the Nordics.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across key market segments.
  • Proactively generate new leads through outreach and market engagement.
  • Support and grow channel partnerships to maximise territory performance.
  • Provide solution-led recommendations based on customer applications.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and decision drivers.
  • Share market insights and customer feedback to support wider business strategy; maintain strong sales discipline.
  • Keep CRM data accurate, up to date, and reflective of pipeline activity.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings across the region.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven success in a B2B sales role with 10+ years’ experience.
  • Experience in technical or scientific sales is preferred.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a disciplined approach to sales execution.
  • Proven success in consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a defined territory effectively.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across a multicultural customer base.
  • Strong negotiation skills and customer focus.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
