Job Description
Stock Controller Role:
We are looking for a proactive Stock Controller to take full responsibility for managing a designated ERF warehouse. You will oversee all stock control activities, ensuring compliance with operating procedures and core standards, while supporting the availability of high-value and plant-critical spares in partnership with Engineering and Operations teams.
Stock Controller Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate stock levels within your assigned ERF warehouse.
- Implement and monitor robust goods-in/goods-out processes.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and stock control standards.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to guarantee availability of critical spares.
- Identify opportunities to reduce stock losses and improve processes.
Stock Controller Background:
- Strong understanding of purchasing principles and practices.
- Proven experience in a stores or warehouse environment with stock control responsibilities.
- Proficiency in computerized stock control systems.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and safe working practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and liaise effectively with colleagues.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
