Senior Software Developer – Edinburgh – C++ – £50K-£55K, hybrid working 2 days in the office, 2 days holiday + BH, private healthcare, pension scheme
The company deliver software solutions to clients in the gaming and engineering industries and are one of the industry’s leaders of AI navigation middleware. They are going through a period of growth and this has led to team expansion in order to keep up with the influx of new work/projects.
The role
If you are passionate about developing innovative algorithms, advancing AI navigation software and working in a small agile company, this is the role for you.
You will be responsible for leading the invention and development of advanced pathfinding software, as well as being involved in the full lifecycle of development, you will collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and tailor their C++ middleware solutions to their needs.
Requirements
- 4+ years commercial experience working with C++/C/Rust or Java
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- BSc in Computer Science/Maths or related field
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
- Ability and proven track record of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
