Job Title: Semi Skilled Mechanic

A Motherwell based engine rebuilding company are looking to recruit a Semi Skilled Mechanic to add to their team at this busy time. The successful candidate will be offered a full time permanent 39 hours per week contract. The hourly rate to start will be £13.45, but this will also be discussed at interview.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Stripping and rebuilding cylinder heads
• Cleaning and preparing components
• Assisting with pressure testing, skimming & valve work
• Supporting general machine shop operations
• This is a hands on role in a fast paced workshop
• Some mechanical experience (automotive or engineering)
• Good understanding of engine components
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Team player
• Can take direction and deal with facts professionally
