Scrum Master

Contract

3 months initially with potential to extend

Edinburgh (circa 2 days per week in the office)

£400-£500 per day (via Umbrella Company)

A well known Edinburgh based Client that we’ve worked with for several years (a well known name to many) is currently seeking an experienced Scrum Master Contractor to join their Technology Function.

This will be a hands on role that requires a strong understanding of agile delivery, Jira administration, stakeholder engagement and technology driven business change. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners/Product Teams, Application Teams and Technology Leadership to drive consistent delivery practices & to be successful, our Client seeks candidates with the following knowledge/experience:

Key Responsibilities and Experience

  1. Recent experience working as a Scrum Master (or Agile Delivery Lead) within other Technology Functions, facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand ups, Reviews and Retrospectives etc.
  2. Strong & proven experience of Scrum, Kanban and Agile delivery methodologies.
  3. Leading
  4. Detailed Jira knowledge & expertise with previous experience configuring Jira workflows, boards, schemes, permissions and reporting.
  5. The ability to lead Agile teams and engage a range of Stakeholders.
  6. Strong & clear communication skills alongside 1st class inter personal skills will be essential as always.
  7. Previous knowledge / experience of Digital Transformation / Technology transformation programmes within other medium large organisations would be highly advantageous – Utilities, Energy, FMCG, Construction, Public Sector etc.
