Overview
Contract: 40 hours per week
Location: The Centre, Livingston
Salary: £13.18 per hour; OTE 1st Year £28,540.35
Please note the successful candidate will be required to work 5 out of 7 days, both weekdays and weekends on a permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities
- As a Sales Assistant at Beaverbrooks, you’ll passionately sell diamonds, jewellery and watches. Create moments that will last a lifetime-for every customer, every time.
- Encourage love and appreciation for our products by knowing each one and what makes it special.
- Listen and take the time to identify our customers’ needs and how much they’d like to spend on something special, to help them find the perfect item for their occasion.
- Be prepared to learn about the products, the people and the Beaverbrooks Way, and to take on accountability. You’ll need to work hard to keep up, but you’ll be motivated to do so.
The ideal candidate
- passion for the customer experience and a down-to-earth approach; enjoy working with colleagues who share values and commitment to amazing service
- ability to listen to customers and be open and honest; driven by turning the everyday into the extraordinary
- merchandising experience is a plus to help create the extraordinary; training can be provided if not
- good eye for detail and understanding of what looks good; willingness to put in effort to achieve results
