Retail Assistant – Part Time
We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Inverness, Highland. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 16 hours worked over 4 days each week, including weekends.
Pay and Benefits
- Hours: 16 hours across 4 days per week.
- Pay: £10.95 per hour (ages ) or £12.81 per hour (ages 21+).

Responsibilities
- Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
- Help customers find the items they are looking for.
- Give fast and friendly service at the tills, including help to pack and friendly thank you.
- Handle stock with care, working deliveries, and placing products into freezers and shelves.
- Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean, and tidy.
Requirements
- A friendly, positive, and hard working approach.
- Enjoy being busy and able to jump between tasks such as deliveries, tills, customer service, cleaning, and stock rotation.
- Reliability and dependability for the small team.
- Flexibility with shifts and the ability to cover when colleagues are off.
