Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 post within the Neonatal Team at FVRH. Our level 2 unit provides Intensive, High Dependency and Special Care to newborn babies within Forth Valley.

Key Qualifications

  • First level NMC Registration.
  • Recent experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
  • Completion of the Neonatal Nurse Quality in Specialty (QIS) certificate.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm to promote family integrated care within the Neonatal Unit.
  • Desire to instill positive changes in the care pathways for babies and families, ensuring the best possible start in life.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.

Working Hours & Pay

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro rata. There will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
