Job Description
First Task Professional is working with a well-established joinery sub-contractor to source a Quantity Surveyor for their business in Glasgow. This company turnover c. 17m and works with the majority Tier 1 contractors to deliver internal partitions, drylining and joinery packages up to the value of 4m.
Working closely with the Commercial Director your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs
- Pricing various work packages based on project drawings and specifications
- Material procurement
- Pricing and management of variations
- Preparing and submitting monthly valuations
- Attending progress meetings
- Negotiating final accounts.
