Programme Manager – Delivery Lead – Financial Services – InfoSec – Outside IR35 contract

My financial services client is looking for a hands on Programme Manager / Delivery Lead to lead a critical initiative within their Information Security function. This is a high impact role with strong executive visibility, focused on regaining control of delivery pace, cost, and execution ahead of key security deadlines in 2026. You’ll take ownership of a complex programme, aligning previously siloed delivery streams into a value driven model that improves accountability, prioritisation, and delivery predictability. Working closely with the CTO & CISO, you’ll lead from the front – challenging plans, navigating stakeholder complexity, and driving outcomes at pace.

Requirements

  • Proven project/programme leadership experience in financial services or insurance (essential)
  • Strong track record delivering large scale information security, cyber or related initiatives
  • Ability to operate hands on in the detail while steering strategic outcomes
  • Expertise in value driven delivery, prioritisation, and cost control
  • Confident stakeholder leader, able to influence across business and technology

  • Immediate requirement for someone who can bring structure, pace, and cohesion to a business critical security programme.

  • Duration: 6 months initial (long term programme)
  • Location: Edinburgh (hybrid)

Compensation

Rates depend on experience and client requirements.
