Job Description

Overview

Production Associate role in Livingston, United Kingdom. Onsite position with potential travel to the alternative site in Glenrothes when required. Day shift (37 hours per week): Mon-Wed 07:30-17:18 and Thurs 07:30-17:06. Full training provided; first weeks include a training programme to build knowledge and skills. Eligibility and willingness to gain BPSS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
  • Mechanical and wiring assembly
  • Kit preparation
  • Bonding and coating
  • Testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment

Required Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar environment/role
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Basic PC skills
  • Quality-focused with a high emphasis on delivering quality to the customer
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Required to pass a basic eye test (including colour vision)

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
  • Good communication and organizational skills
