Location and Hours

Largs, North Ayrshire. Various contracts available – full time and part time. Various shift patterns with 24 hour on site support.

Role Overview

Personal Assistants support adults with learning disabilities in a community of 22 houses. They work as part of a team to provide individualised care, positive behavioural support, and help residents develop social networks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, medication, finances and housework.
• Provide moving and handling support and positive behavioural assistance.
• Facilitate community access and social activities.
• Work independently and collaboratively with a team to meet support plans and safety standards.
• Attend 24 hour on site support shifts as required.

• No prior care experience is required; we value transferable skills and values.
