Position Details

Location: Govanhill, Glasgow

Job type: Part time – 17 hours per week.

Shift pattern: 8am 2pm, 2pm 8pm or 8am 8pm long day shift.

Role: Dementia Support – personal assistants (support workers).

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care, moving and handling.
• Provide positive behavioural support when required.
• Facilitate social networks and connections to expand residents’ social interactions.
• Collaborate with a bespoke team to ensure safety, wellbeing and personal aspirations are met.
• Support residents in achieving personal outcomes throughout their dementia journey.

About Bankhall Court

Bankhall Court is a residential dementia care service based in Govanhill, supporting 17 adults with various types of dementia. We provide 24 hour care in a comfortable, homely environment where residents are encouraged to live well with dementia and achieve personal outcomes.
