Personal Assistant (Mental Health Support) – 23 hour contract (Arden Project, Govanhill and Mount Florida areas)

Job Overview

The Arden Project provides housing support to people with mental health needs, helping them live independently in the local community. Staff are on duty 24/7, but support hours are tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences.

Responsibilities

As a Personal Assistant you will:

  • Assist people with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support, while expanding their social networks and connections.
  • Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and outcomes through collaboration with their personal support plans.
  • Create a positive, flexible, and supportive environment, working independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Ability to adapt communication style to build successful, enjoyable relationships with the people we support.
  • Commitment to work with individuals through personalized support plans so they reach their goals and celebrate successes.
  • A positive and flexible outlook, capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Location

Arden, Mount Florida, Govanhill – Southside of Glasgow.
