A luxury care company is seeking an experienced Peripatetic Staff Nurse to support its high-quality nursing homes across Glasgow, Stirling, and Edinburgh. Details of this Peripatetic Staff Nurse position and what the successful candidate will receive:

  • Competitive hourly rate of 26.00 – 28.00 per hour (equivalent to 59,150 – 63,700 per annum, dependent on experience)
  • Full-time, permanent contract – 43.75 hours per week
  • Day shifts on a rolling rota
  • Peripatetic role covering Glasgow, Stirling, and Edinburgh
  • Shift times: 7:30am – 9:00pm
  • Meals included on shift

In this Peripatetic Staff Nurse role, you will:

Deliver high-quality nursing care across multiple services, supporting local nursing and care teams to maintain excellent clinical standards. You will be responsible for medication administration, care planning, clinical assessments, wound care management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will act as a positive role model, providing clinical guidance and supporting best practice while working collaboratively with Home Managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and consistency of care.

What our client is looking for in a Peripatetic Staff Nurse:

  • NMC Registered Nurse – Adult/RGN, Mental Health/RMN, or Learning Disability Nurse/RNLD
  • Experience working as a Staff Nurse within a nursing home or elderly care setting
  • Sound knowledge of care planning, medication management, and clinical risk assessment
  • A flexible and adaptable approach with the confidence to work across different services and teams
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrable career stability with a proven track record of delivering high standards of care
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between services
