Overview
We’re seeking an experienced HR professional to join a public sector organisation on an interim basis, supporting their people and wellbeing agenda. This is a hands-on generalist role focused on delivering proactive, compassionate, and values-led HR support across health, safety, wellbeing, and employee relations.
Responsibilities
- You’ll work closely with staff, board members, and external partners to provide early advice, draft policies, manage casework, and support change initiatives.
- Strong experience in absence management, performance, recruitment, and trauma-informed practice is essential.
- You’ll also contribute to wellbeing frameworks and continuous improvement through data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will be CIPD-qualified (or equivalent), with excellent communication skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to work flexibly and digitally.
- Experience in the public or third sector and an understanding of trauma and its impact is highly desirable.
Additional information
This hybrid role is home-based with occasional travel across the central belt. Must have secure Wi-Fi and a private working space.
