Job Description
Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing business, is looking for a Spray Painter to join their production team. This role involves preparing and painting large industrial engines and associated components, ensuring a consistently high-quality finish in line with company and industry standards.
Your Time at Work
- Prepare engines and components for painting.
- Apply coatings using industrial spray-painting equipment.
- Carry out quality inspections on completed work.
- Apply undercoats and topcoats to specified thickness requirements.
- Ensure coatings meet relevant industry standards where required.
- Maintain spray-painting equipment and keep work areas clean and organised.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Our Perfect Worker
- Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or automotive spray painting is advantageous.
- Candidates with transferable skills and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

Key Information and Benefits
- Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Working Pattern:
- Monday to Thursday: 6:30am – 3:30pm
- Friday: 6:30am – 12:30pm
- Temporary contract with the view to go permanent in 6 months.
