Job Description

Our client is a Mechanical services contractor who has a new full-time, permanent position available for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team. The role will be working on sites within central Scotland with some travel across the UK as required. There is an opportunity here to grow and develop your own career into a lead/supervisory role for the right person over the next few years.

Job Duties:

• Ensuring customer and business compliance with all relevant industry standards and guidance for Acop L8, HSG 274 Parts 1,2 & 3, BS 8580 Legionella Risk Assessment, BS 8554 – Sampling & Monitoring of H&C Systems and Water Regulations.
• Problem-solving and fault diagnosing of water and plumbing systems while on site and making any necessary recommendations for any highlighted remedial actions or maintenance where required.
• Compiling accurate schematic diagrams/drawings of the site water systems.
• Ensuring and supporting health & safety standards and practices while on-site and through our service delivery standards.
• Ensuring that the completed relevant documentation is completed to a high standard and issued to the customer within agreed timeframes.
• Liaise with the helpdesk team to ensure workload is completed and agreed SLAs are met.
• Must be happy to travel to sites across the UK as required – potentially on occasion by working away from home.

Qualifications:

Essential

• Proven track record in carrying out site-based risk assessments.
• City & Guilds – Risk Assessment for Legionella Control in water systems or equivalent ideally.
• Full UK Driving License as this is a site-based, mobile role.

Package:

• Salary – 26,000 – 33,000 (depending on experience).
• Van + fuel card.
• Death in service benefit.
• Holidays 33 days.
• Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm.
