Nursing Home Manager (Nurse or Non-Nurse)
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 per annum
Location: Forfar
We are seeking an experienced and resilient Nursing Home Manager to lead and stabilise a care home currently undergoing significant improvement and transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong manager with proven turnaround experience who thrives in challenging environments and is passionate about raising standards, improving compliance, and leading teams through change. We are looking for a confident and capable leader who can take ownership, rebuild morale, drive performance, and deliver high quality care standards.
The Role
- Provide strong operational and clinical leadership across the home
- Lead the home through a period of change and improvement
- Drive compliance, governance, and quality standards
- Manage staffing, performance, recruitment, and team development
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders
- Ensure the home delivers safe, person centred care
- Prepare for and manage regulatory inspections
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager or Registered Manager
- Nurse qualified or non-nurse candidates considered
- Strong management background within elderly care/care homes
- Proven turnaround experience is essential
- Confident managing compliance challenges and improving standards
- Resilient, organised, and able to lead under pressure
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
