Job Description

Locum Consultant – General Medicine

Ref: NS249335

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to join our dynamic General Medicine department at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The department covers three in patient wards (105, 110 and 308) and delivers all aspects of general medical care for Grampian, the Orkney and Shetland islands, and boarded patients within the hospital site.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in patient care and contribute to the receiving service for General Medicine.
  • Work on a rota system that includes weekends and on call commitment.
  • Deliver all aspects of general medical care across the department’s wards.

Qualifications

  • Full registration and licence to practise with the GMC is required (licence must be in place prior to starting).
  • Experience in general medicine and relevant clinical skills.

Contract

Full time (part time also considered) on a fixed term basis for one year.
