Job Description

MacGregor Industrial Supplies is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for a new team member to join our Stornoway branch.

This is a multiskilled, hands on role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, likes to stay active, and values being part of a close knit team where everyone supports one another.

The Opportunity

This is more than just a job. You’ll play a key role in the day to day running of the branch, getting involved across different areas of the business.

From serving customers to handling stock (including forklift work), you’ll build skills, learn new processes, and contribute in a role where no two days are the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing friendly, helpful service to customers at the trade counter
• Handling stock, including booking in deliveries, putting stock away, and keeping the branch organised
• Operating a forklift as part of daily stock handling (once trained/authorised)
• Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Supporting colleagues to keep the branch running smoothly
• Getting involved wherever needed – this is very much a team first environment
