Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembly Operator to join our clients production team. The role requires precision, manual dexterity, and a strong understanding of mechanical processes.
This role is fully supported with training and with a view to a permanent job after qualifying probationary period
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, blueprints and specifications.
- Perform functional and quality checks on assembled components to ensure proper fit and operation.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Work to established quality and safety standards, including the use of PPE.
- Troubleshoot and correct assembly issues, escalating problems as needed.
- Assist in the testing, calibration, or packaging of finished products.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and assembly techniques.
