What You’ll Be Doing

  • Engage in hands on, detailed work, including the disassembly, repair, and assembly of aircraft nacelle components.
  • Read and interpret technical data, such as manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and engineering drawings.
  • Uphold high standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and help drive positive change.

Your Skills & Experience

  • A time served qualification in a relevant discipline, with trade papers or an equivalent mechanical qualification.
  • Strong practical skills developed through experience in a mechanical or engineering environment.
  • A proactive and solution focused mindset, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with a natural ability to collaborate and share knowledge.
  • Confidence in numeracy, literacy, and computer literacy.
  • A commitment to upholding Collins Aerospace policies and values, including ethics, safety, and continuous learning.

Preferred Experience (But Not Essential!)

  • Previous experience in an aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul environment.
  • Knowledge of aircraft composite structures and repairs.
  • Experience with fastener removal and installation.
  • Familiarity with engine build up, measurement tools, and torque applications.
  • SAP or similar operating system experience.
  • An understanding of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles.
