Job Description

H9 Technical Recruitment are hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor to work at our clients ERF in Bargeddie to be responsible for the execution of planned and reactive maintenance across the site

  • Ensuring all maintenance activities are performed within the correct methods established through company Health and safety guidance, in line with risk assessments and safe operating procedures.
  • Provide support to other disciplines as necessary using your expertise and skills, as well as working as an Authorised Person, you’ll collaborate with both the permit and maintenance Coordinators to ensure that system isolation are in place to allow works to proceed as planned
  • Manage our team of Technicians, along with the coordination of contractors as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Skills and Education

  • Appropriate technical qualifications City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent
  • Understanding of Environmental and Health and Safety issues and their impacts
  • Solid understanding of powerplant processes
  • Ability to think logically and solve problems effectively and efficiently
  • Previous experience in line managing a team
  • AP2 authorised
