MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Paisley, Glasgow

Salary: £45,000 – £49,00

Shift: Days and Nights (Mon-Fri)

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer

A great opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a supportive team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The company values teamwork, open communication, and a positive attitude just as much as technical skill.

You’ll be responsible for mechanical maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response, and planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime. You’ll also support continuous improvement projects and machinery upgrades, working closely with production to drive safety and performance. Sector – Fast Paced Manufacturer Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer

  • Maintenance experience within a manufacturing background
  • Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
  • Engineering Qualification

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

  • Mechanical fault-finding experience.
  • Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

  • Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics systems
