Personal Assistant / Befriender

Hours: 5 per week Location: St Cyrus Pay: £13.45 per hour

Job Overview

This role involves supporting a 12 year old boy with Autism and ADHD by spending time with him in community or home settings, providing consistent boundaries, guidance, and nurturing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Spend 5 hours per week providing companionship and support.
• Assist with daily routines and activities.
• Maintain consistent boundaries and calm guidance.
• Provide reassurance and nurturing support when emotions are overwhelming.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Patient, compassionate, and able to build trust at the individual’s pace.
• Good communication skills and sense of humour.
• Ability to maintain boundaries and provide calm instruction.

Additional Information

£13.45 per hour. Position requires PVG membership.
