We have an opportunity available within Aberdeenshire Kincardine & Mearns cluster covering GP practices & Community Hospital in Inverbervie, Laurencekirk, Portlethen & Stonehaven
Working Hours
Part Time (3 days, 21.6h/week) Monday – Friday
Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a registered pharmacist to join the Pharmacotherapy teams working across Aberdeenshire. The post holder will join a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and be key to the ongoing provision of the pharmacotherapy service and promoting quality, cost-effective prescribing of medicines.
Responsibilities
The post holder will support GP practices and community hospitals, covering all aspects of medicines management in line with local and national guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Registered pharmacist
- Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills
- Experience working within Primary Care, medicines management and audit (advantage)
- Independent Prescriber qualification (advantage)
- A full driving licence
You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background.
Working Arrangements
The post will include onsite working in GP Practices and/or remote working from an agreed base within the HSCP cluster area. Options can be discussed ahead of applying. Full driving licence is essential.
