A new vacancy has come up at the Rutland Depot for a Lead Driver starting 1 January 2025
We are looking for a Lead Driver to help head up our team at Oakham, Rutland
Ability to drive/cover all routes
Distribute/organise rotas and bus routes.
Excel and Word skills.
Organise logistics and vehicle movements
Support the Supervisor in terms of shift pattern
The ability to help motivate a team.

A full enhanced DBS check will be performed on any candidates and we would look to train any younger or new to transport applicants, who have the right outlook and commitment to the business.
There is a career progression in Passenger Service Transport from D1 or D and from there movement to Lead Driver, Supervisor, Office based CPC holder up to Transport Manager. It is a sector of work for any age of committed hardworking individual.

D or D1 License with current CPC and LCC DBS would be preferred
