Are you our new HR Business Partner?

As a HR Business Partner (HRBP) at Intrum your role will be pivotal within the UK HR team. You’ll operate in Glasgow, with the added flexibility of hybrid working with travel to our other UK offices as required.

We are looking for an experienced HRBP who can provide expert HR Advice, As an HRBP, you’ll be an authority in providing professional and technical HR advice. Your expertise will guide managers and staff on various aspects of people management. You’ll actively promote HR best practices across all facets of the HR function. This includes ensuring compliance, fostering a positive work environment, and driving employee engagement whilst developing and maintaining positive relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.

In summary, your role as an experienced HRBP will be multifaceted, combining technical expertise, strategic thinking, and relationship management to drive HR excellence within Intrum.

What you will do:

  • Ownership of intricate HR projects. These could range from organisational restructuring to policy development and implementation.

  • Lead on TUPE Consultations and manage processes ensuring all legal aspects are covered.

  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business will be crucial. Your ability to collaborate effectively will contribute to overall HR success.

  • Provide support to our operational areas, which include Customer Contact Centres and various business support functions across the UK.

  • Manage ER casework will be a significant part of your role. This involves assisting managers with people-related matters such as disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and absence management.

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of HR Business partnering, you’ll develop and execute strategic HR initiatives. These may include management coaching and employee engagement sessions to enhance organisational effectiveness.

  • Responsible for providing insightful HR-related data analysis. Your comprehensive reports will highlight key trends and areas of focus, enabling informed decision-making.

  • Devoted to the FCA principle of Consumer Duty, by ensuring we are driving good customer outcomes across all aspects of services that have potential to impact our customers.

What we’re looking for:

  • Robust background as an HR Business partner with sound generalist experience, demonstrating proficiency across various HR functions.

  • Significant experience in TUPE Consultations with end to end process management.

  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance Management and employee goals.

  • Provide expertise in areas of employee relations, development & coaching.

  • Strong background in HR policy Management and working with line managers to apply in a business setting.

  • Deep knowledge in core HR processes across performance calibration, compensation cycle and succession planning.

  • Displays strong knowledge and supports organisational re-design and restructuring.

  • CIPD Qualification: Being CIPD qualified at Level 5 or having equivalent demonstrable experience.
