Horizontal Borer Machine Operator
East Kilbride Full Time Competitive Salary + Bonus + 32 Days Holiday
We re looking for an experienced and motivated Horizontal Borer Operator to join our busy machine shop. If you ve got a strong machining background and enjoy working with traditional equipment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing, employee-owned business.
What You ll Do

Set up and run a conventional horizontal borer

Operate lathes, mills and drills

Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances

Inspect your own work and maintain high quality standards

Support continuous improvement and good workshop organisation
What We re Looking For
-
Previous machining experience is essential

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Skilled in operating machine tools
-
Bonus points for: SH75 experience, forklift licence, overhead crane use or knowledge of machine shop safety
