We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking engineering services provider to assist them in hiring an Estimating Manager for their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimating professional to take on a key leadership role, overseeing project pricing and contributing to the continued success of a dynamic organisation. You will play a vital part in ensuring accurate, competitive tenders while supporting strategic business growth.
As the Estimating Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Leading and managing the estimating function across multiple projects
Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates and tender submissions
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and client requirements
Liaising with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing
Identifying risks and opportunities within tenders
Supporting business development and contributing to bid strategy
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
Proven experience in an estimating role within engineering, construction, or a related sector
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
