Job Title: Engineering Geologist
Location: Glasgow
Salary: 32,000 – 35,000
A new opportunity has opened for an Engineering Geologist based in Glasgow.
You will be joining a respected multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy specialising in geotechnical and environmental engineering. The successful candidate will work across a variety of projects, undertaking both site-based investigations and office-based technical work.

Responsibilities:
- Design and supervise ground investigations
Carry out Phase 1 desk studies and prepare interpretative reports
Undertake geotechnical risk assessments
Complete soil and rock logging, sampling, and field testing
Support contaminated land assessments
Liaise with clients and internal project teams
Mentor junior staff where needed
You will also work closely with senior geotechnical and geo-environmental specialists, developing your expertise while contributing to high-quality project delivery.
To be considered for the Engineering Geologist role, you should:
Hold a degree in Geology or Engineering Geology
Have experience in ground investigation
Live within a commutable distance of Glasgow
Hold a full UK driving licence
