Overview

Energy Support Officer/Adviser(s) – THAW Orkney is seeking to appoint new team members to provide bespoke energy advice services to support households in Orkney to achieve affordable warmth.

Fixed term until 31 July 2027, extended subject to funding.

Role and responsibilities

  • Provide bespoke energy advice to households in Orkney to help achieve affordable warmth.
  • Assist households in understanding energy efficiency options and available support.
  • Work as part of THAW Orkney’s established team to deliver high-quality service provision.
  • Participate in energy assessments; full training in home energy assessments will be provided.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Training in home energy assessments will be provided; no specific formal qualifications stated in the description.
