Job Title: Electronics Instrumentation and Commissioning Engineer

Location: Dunfermline (hybrid)

Salary: Up to £45,000 (Depending on Experience)

About the Role

  • Configure and fine-tune cutting-edge instrumentation to meet unique client specifications at our Fife facility.
  • Carry out Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) alongside clients to ensure top-quality performance.
  • Travel to sites for hands-on installation and commissioning (SCT).
  • Use diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and resolve faults down to module level.
  • Produce clear and professional Site Survey Reports, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.
  • Work confidently from electrical schematic drawings.
  • Oversee subcontractors while ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations 2015.

What We Need from You

  • Proficient with electrical/electronic test equipment.
  • Experience with embedded electronic systems and their software applications.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
  • Highly self-motivated, well-organised, punctual, and physically fit for on-site tasks (including scaffolding, lifting floor tiles, and cable installation).
  • A UK driving licence is essential.
  • Experience with fibre optic cabling, splicing, and patch cabinets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Confident using hand and power tools (e.g., drills, cutting tools).

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years experience in electronic instrumentation.
  • A minimum of HND in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
