Our client, a leading firm in the renewables sector, is currently seeking an Electrician to join their team on a contract basis. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for individuals looking to start their career in the rapidly growing field of renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical systems and components in renewable energy projects
- Conduct inspections and ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant standards and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on-site
- Assist in the testing and commissioning of renewable energy systems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion
Job Requirements:
- Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical qualification
- Possession of all GWO qualifications
- Understanding of electrical systems and components
- 18th Edition qualification is desirable, but not required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel to the Douglas site or willingness to relocate, with accommodation provided if necessary
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
