Edinburgh (Mobile Role)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join a busy and growing maintenance company operating across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. This is a mobile role, carrying out a mix of reactive and planned electrical maintenance, void property works, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term position, starting on a 12-week temporary contract with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out reactive electrical repairs in domestic and light commercial properties

Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks

Undertake full and partial rewires in void properties

Conduct EICRs and remedial works in line with current regulations

Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions

Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with current wiring regulations

Maintain accurate job records and documentation
Requirements
-
Fully qualified Electrician (SVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations
-
Experience completing EICRs
-
Strong fault-finding skills
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Own transport preferred due to the mobile nature of the role

Excellent communication and customer service skills
