Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Associate Director to join a Building Services team in Glasgow, with a strong focus on data centre projects.
This is a senior leadership role combining technical excellence, team management and strategic project oversight. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering complex, high-value data centre schemes while supporting business growth and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design and delivery of data centre projects
- Provide strategic technical direction across multiple schemes
- Oversee electrical design quality, standards and compliance
- Manage and mentor senior and junior engineers
- Support project planning, resource management and programme delivery
- Engage with clients and stakeholders at a senior level
- Contribute to business development and work-winning activities
- Ensure delivery aligns with commercial and operational objectives
Requirements
- Extensive experience in electrical building services design
- Proven experience delivering data centre projects
- Experience operating at the Associate or Associate Director level (or ready to step up)
- Strong leadership and team management capability
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong commercial awareness
