Design Engineer
Contract Length: Until March 2027

Location: On site at Prestwick Mon to Thurs and Fri AM (Finish at 1pm on Fridays)
37 hours per week
Belcan are currently looking to hire a Design Engineer to work for our client, who manufactures airframes within the aerospace industry. This role is working on a project that is expected to run to 2027.
What will you be doing?
As a successful Design Engineer, you will be using Catia 3D to design aerospace structures, including pressure vessels and cryogenic fluids. You will also be involved in disciplines such as stress, manufacturing and M&P.
What is required from you?
We are looking for experienced aerospace design engineers who have over 10 years’ experience designing aerospace structures or similar. Knowledge of adjacent disciplines like stress, manufacturing or M&P are also highly desirable. The successful Design Engineer will be an expert in assembly design capabilities and ideally have experience working with pressure vessels or cryogenic fluids.
