Position

Clinical Support Worker based at North West Area Centre. This is a permanent position.

Hours

36 hours per week . Job share may be considered.

Right to Work

Right to work in the United Kingdom is mandatory. A UK driving licence is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing the clinical area and dental materials under the supervision of a Registered Dental Nurse.
  • Provide reception duties and administrative support to clinicians.
  • Help ensure effective delivery of care while maintaining an acceptable standard of service.
  • Maintain infection control procedures in the dental surgery, including equipment, laboratory work and decontamination/sterilisation of instruments.

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, verbal and written.
  • Experience of working in a caring environment/role working with the public.
  • Ability to work as part of a large team.
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment fulfilling the requirement of the job description.

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of dental paperwork and Microsoft packages.
  • Experience in cash handling.
